CME-CPD

Continuing Medical Education – Continuing Professional Development

The Spring Symposium is accredited by the UEMS-EACCME (the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) for a maximum of 11 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).

CME-CPD credits

Each medical specialist will be able to claim those hours of CME credit actually spent in the live educational activity, after evaluating the attended sessions.

One CME credit equals to one attended session (a minimum attendance of 30 minutes per session is required). Parallel sessions with the same start time are not cumulative.

CME-CPD credits can only be gained by watching the live streaming programme on 06 and 07 May 2021, the days of the Virtual Symposium.

On demand and/or industry sponsored sessions are NOT accredited by the EADV.

Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Please refer to the national CME-CPD authority in your country of practice for the exchange of CME-CPD credits/points.
